Introduction:
Avago’s simplex and duplex connectors for POF patchcords are low-cost for polymer optical fiber (POF), which are compatible with any versatile link series transmitters and receivers. These Avago POF connectors use a simple latching and non-latching, snap-together concept which eliminates the need for crimping.
The Avago POF connectors can be used for automotive networks, gaming and medical equipment and industrial control and voltage isolation.The Avago HFBR-R/EXXYYZ series of plastic optic fiber cables(POF cables) are constructed of a single step-index fiber sheathed in a black polyethylene jacket. The duplex fiber consists of two simplex fiber cables joined with a zipcord web.
